Walleyes have been found while drifting with spinners tipped with a night crawler imitation. Look in the mud around reefs and in areas where the bottom composition transitions from soft mud to clay and sand. Keep an eye on your sonar, sometimes bottom composition changes with very little depth change. Some rock reefs have been holding a few walleyes, but you’ll most likely find better numbers in the mud surrounding the reef.  Smaller bait fish have been moving on tops of reefs. Been having some big perch luck around the reefs as well.

Muskie have been making the seasonal move towards summer structure, but have been held up by the cool off in air temps last weekend. Submerged weeds along shorelines that are between the spawning bays and the main basin are holding both good numbers and size of toothy critters. Bucktails and dive-and-rise lures, like a Suick, have been consistently showing fish. Top water prop lures have been putting some of the bigger fish in the net.
